Daniel Pinto

Daniel Pinto is Vice Chairman of JPMorgan Chase, a leading global financial services firm.

Daniel has spent his career at JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor companies. He began as a financial analyst and foreign exchange trader at Manufacturers Hanover in 1983 in Buenos Aires. He moved to Mexico City to be Treasurer and head trader for Chemical Bank and then to London, taking on increasingly senior Markets roles at JPMorgan Chase, eventually becoming the head of Fixed Income Markets in 2012. He also served as CEO of the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region from 2011 to 2017.

Daniel was made Co-CEO of the Corporate & Investment Bank in 2012, becoming sole CEO in 2014. In 2018, he was named Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of JPMorgan Chase and worked closely with the CEO and the Board to identify and pursue critical firmwide opportunities. He became sole President and COO in 2022.

He assumed the role of Vice Chairman on July 1, 2025, and continues to work with the CEO and other senior executives on key projects, client relationships and complex issues facing the firm.

Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting and Business Administration from Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora in
Buenos Aires. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Johnson & Johnson and of the Institute of International Finance.
