Thank you for your interest in JPMorganChase

We’re delighted you’re considering a career with us. Please be aware that scammers sometimes impersonate reputable companies — including JPMorganChase — to deceive job seekers. Scammers may use real employee names and generate documents that appear official and legitimate. These scams may involve fake interviews, fraudulent applications or counterfeit offer letters, often aiming to obtain money or sensitive personal information.

How to spot a recruitment scam:

  • Suspicious communication: Be cautious of unsolicited messages from unfamiliar sources or websites, especially if the email domain does not match our official business. JPMorganChase will never contact you from free email accounts (e.g., Yahoo, Gmail) or unverified platforms. We only use official email addresses (e.g., jpmchase.com, jpmorgan.com, chase.com).
  • Vague job details: Legitimate communications will reference a specific job opening and provide a clear job description.
  • Unfamiliar resume claims: Be cautious of recruiters claiming to have found your resume on an unfamiliar website.
  • Requests for sensitive information or payment: We will never ask for personal data (such as your Social Security number, national identification number, date of birth, bank account details or passport information) during the application process. We will never ask for any payments at any stage of the hiring process.
  • Unusual interview platforms: Interviews are only conducted through our approved platforms. Be cautious of invitations to interview via platforms not officially used by JPMorganChase (e.g., Google Hangouts). To verify a Zoom interview, click the Meeting Information icon (shield with a checkmark) in the top left corner of the meeting screen and confirm the invitation link includes “jpmchase.”
  • Too good to be true offers: Be skeptical of job opportunities that seem unusually generous or come from people you do not know. We do not extend job offers without interviews.
