Theresa Murphy

Theresa Murphy is a Senior Associate at JPMorgan within the Center for Geopolitics, where she serves as Budget and Consulting Manager. With more than two decades of experience at JPMorgan Chase, Theresa began her career in Corporate & Investment Banking at the firm’s New York headquarters and has developed broad experience across business operations, financial management, and strategic planning.

In her current role, Theresa oversees budget planning, and financial oversight while supporting consulting and operational initiatives across the Center for Geopolitics. She partners across teams to manage budgets, drive process improvements, coordinate vendor and project execution, and support leadership priorities. She is known for her collaborative approach, strong organizational leadership, and ability to manage complex initiatives with precision and accountability.

Outside of her corporate role, Theresa is actively engaged in community service and nonprofit work. She volunteers with organizations focused on youth development, mentoring, and women’s empowerment, providing guidance to fine arts programs and supporting young youths and women through leadership and transitional development initiatives.

Theresa holds a BA in Organizational Behavior and Communication from New York University, a MA/MDiv from Wesley Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate from Boston University. She graduated magna cum laude from each institution.
