Markets Summer Analyst Program

Your day-to-day will vary based on your team and what’s going on in the markets. You will use your passion and critical thinking skills to solve real business problems, innovate new client offerings outside of our traditional products, work on complex mathematical models and cutting-edge methodologies, and analyze data to prepare innovative insights for clients.

You’ll also write reports, build updated financial models, and support multi-billion dollar transactions.

Key skills

You should have strong critical thinking and communication skills along with excellent analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills. You’ll need to be able to work independently and with our teams to produce accurate, detailed work under pressure. Experience with Java, C++, Python, or Matlab is a plus. 

As a summer intern, you will help provide and analyze the information needed to create the right solutions for our internal and external clients. You’ll learn about global market strategies and asset classes through ongoing education and hands-on experience. You will be a critical part of the team you join.

On-the-job experience

You’ll gain experience in proposing trade ideas as a part of a “desk,” or conducting research on a team aligned to a specific sector. You’ll learn about the solutions, products, and insights that are offered to clients in various market conditions. You will have the opportunity to attend meetings, give presentations, provide valuable insights as part of a team.

Training

The nine-week program begins with five days of orientation and classroom training. During your internship, you’ll benefit from mentors, a speaker series, and regular trading simulations.
