Inside the program

While day-to-day responsibilities will vary based on your placement, you’ll build your foundational knowledge, professional skills, and experiences to take your career in many different directions. You’ll work on strategic projects including using data analytics to measure operational effectiveness, driving product development, leading project management efforts, evaluating business strategies, or developing innovative solutions to key business cases.

Valued qualities

We’re looking for leaders with highly developed critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills. Our leaders are results-oriented and have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Adaptability is key since you’ll be working in different team environments with varying management styles.

Key skills

You’ll need clear communication skills, the abilities to synthesize and present information, and craft clear messages for decision-makers.

This two-year rotational program develops future leaders in Consumer & Community Banking. You’ll participate in three eight-month rotations designed to deepen your knowledge of Chase through exposure to our business units: Auto, Business Banking, Card Services, Connected Commerce, Consumer Banking, Data and Analytics, Digital Product & Experience, Finance, Home Lending, J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Marketing and Communications, Control, Operations, Risk Management, and Strategy.

Program Associates will gain experience rotating through roles within three of four program disciplines: Data & Analytics, Product, Project/Program Management, and Strategy & Strategic Initiatives.

On-the-job experience

The Chase Associate Program is designed to provide you with a uniquely broad set of experiences that will help you advance in your career and become a future leader at the firm. Your projects may include using data analytics to measure operational effectiveness, driving product development through the lifecycle – testing, iterating, measuring and marketing new features; leading project management efforts for high visibility of our brands, evaluating and quantifying business strategies in line with regulatory controls, or developing innovative solutions to key business cases by collaborating across business, product areas, and functions.

Training

You’ll be provided with continuous support over the two years of the program, including rigorous trainings, formalized mentoring, professional and social networking opportunities, exposure to senior leadership, and professional development training. Our training curriculum will also provide a strong support network comprised of a dedicated program manager and mentor who collectively partner to ensure you have robust learning opportunities.

Career progression

Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll utilize the network and knowledge gained throughout your rotations to help you identify your next role – one that best suits your interests and skills.
