Inside the program

While day-to-day responsibilities will vary based on your placement, you’ll build your foundational knowledge, professional skills, and experiences to take your career in many different directions. You’ll work on strategic projects including using data analytics to measure operational effectiveness, driving product development, leading project management efforts, evaluating business strategies, or developing innovative solutions to key business cases.

Valued qualities

We’re looking for proactive and collaborative team players who are curious, detail-oriented, and interested in supporting innovative financial products and services of the future.

Key skills

You should have high technical aptitude, and excellent interpersonal, project management, and analytical skills.

In this two-year program, you will gain a solid understanding of our customers, products, services, and strategies by working on a number of high-impact projects in our Consumer & Community Banking business. You’ll participate in three eight-month rotations designed to deepen your knowledge of Chase through exposure to our business units: Auto, Business Banking, Card Services, Connected Commerce, Consumer Banking, Data and Analytics, Digital Product & Experience, Finance, Home Lending, J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Marketing and Communications, Control, Operations, Risk Management, and Strategy.

Program analysts will gain experience rotating through roles within three of four program disciplines: Data & Analytics, Product, Project/Program Management, and Strategy & Strategic Initiatives.

On-the-job experience

The Chase Leadership Development Program is designed to provide you with a uniquely broad set of experiences that will help you advance in your career and become a future leader at the firm. Your projects may include using data analytics to measure operational effectiveness, driving product development through the lifecycle – testing, iterating, measuring and marketing new features; leading project management efforts for high visibility of our brands, evaluating and quantifying business strategies in line with regulatory controls, or developing innovative solutions to key business cases by collaborating across business, product areas, and functions.

Training

Over the course of the program, you’ll have access to professional and leadership development training, networking, business deep dives, and one-on-one mentorship. A dedicated program manager focused on your career progression will further guide your experience.

Career progression

Upon successful completion of the program, you will utilize the network and knowledge gained throughout your rotations to help you identify your next role—one that best suits your interests and skills.
