Bournemouth Think Ahead Program

You’ll join us at a Bournemouth university for a week of intensive research, coursework, and first-hand experiences to help you learn how a large financial institution operates. You’ll gain experience and exposure to tasks and ideas that will help you enhance your future prospects, and work on an intensive team project designed to develop your research, presentation, time management, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Valued qualities

We’re looking for highly motivated and curious students who have one year of secondary school remaining and are interested in a career in financial services. Individuals with excellent teamwork, problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills will do well in the program. We’re also looking for students who can think and work independently, as well as communicate effectively.

On-the-job experience

You’ll participate in an extended group research project designed to test and develop your professional skill set. We partner with the university to offer courses to help you understand various aspects of financial services such as markets, cybersecurity, and products to enhance your knowledge and help with the project. At the end of the week, your team will present your solution to a panel of J.P. Morgan and industry experts.

With insight into the various career paths available, you’ll have an invaluable understanding of the business world and a head start on future opportunities at the firm. You may be fast-tracked for our apprenticeship program or asked to serve as a JPMorganChase ambassador with your university.
