Inside the program

You’ll make meaningful contributions to our global business operations on one of our audit teams, which support Asset & Wealth Management, Consumer & Community Banking, Commercial & Investment Bank, and Enterprise Technology. Our teams identify and analyze risks in our businesses and evaluate how we control those. You’ll also test controls by reviewing documents, meeting with management, and observing operations. You’ll learn about our businesses from the inside, gaining detailed knowledge of the industry and how our teams and technology function together.

Our technology teams focus on reviews of business applications, data management, global infrastructure, digital technologies, and cyber/information security. By providing management with feedback regarding the control environment, you’ll help to safeguard our firm and continue to best serve our clients.

Valued qualities

We’re looking for professionals from a variety of backgrounds, experience, and skills to join our team. We expect you to have the highest standards of integrity and professionalism with a strong work ethic. You’ll need to have strong attention to detail and be able to see the big picture. We’re looking for independent, analytical thinkers who can quickly adapt to new situations. You should be able to clearly communicate with all types of people and provide feedback to our businesses.

Key skills

We’re looking for those who are honest, curious, collaborative, well-rounded, and motivated. You should have an interest in business, finance, or technology as well as the ability to apply what you know to complex situations.

Full-time analysts focus on business or technology roles in this 18-month program. You’ll collaborate with our Audit teams to identify and analyze business risks, review digital technologies, and evaluate information security across the firm.

On-the-job experience

Experiencing every phase of an audit, you’ll prepare continuous monitoring strategies, plan audits, conduct business walkthroughs, guide fieldwork testing, interview stakeholders, identify and communicate issues, and prepare audit reports.

The first week of the program begins with a firmwide orientation, plus core audit and professional skills training. The development continues with 60 hours of training each year and support in your pursuit of professional certifications.
