Commercial & Specialized Industries Program

In this two-and-a-half-year program, you’ll hone critical banking skills in one of our Commercial & Specialized Industries businesses to prepare you to become a banking, credit, or treasury professional. You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience interacting with clients on meaningful projects.

You should be able to ask pointed questions, exhibit high client-care standards, and pay close attention to detail. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude and who are open to challenges and new learning experiences.

Key skills

You should have superior communication and multi-tasking skills, a strong understanding of industry fundamentals, and the ability to work well on a team.

This rotational program develops future leaders in Commercial & Specialized Industries. As a participant, you’ll have the opportunity to build market expertise in a variety of industries, work on financial models to support financing transactions, execute customer engagement strategies, and provide recommendations on how to manage risk effectively.

On-the-job experience

You’ll be offered opportunities for increased responsibility and industry knowledge, working with bankers to develop pitch books and presentations, preparing credit approval packages, completing financial modeling, or researching prospective clients and markets.

Training

You’ll receive six weeks of training, learning about our products and services, clients and business practices through presentations, team exercises, exams and case studies, led by our experts and professionals.

Career progression

Upon successful completion of the program, high performing candidates may receive an offer of continued employment and advancement with the firm. They’ll interview for credit, treasury, or banking roles.
