Philippines typhoon relief

Super Typhoon Rai (known locally as “Odette”) struck the southeastern islands of the Philippines on December 16, leaving a wake of devastation, killing hundreds of people and displacing more than 300,000. Our thoughts are with our employees in the Philippines, particularly at the Cebu Corporate Center, who have been directly impacted by this disaster.

Relief is needed to support organizations providing immediate emergency aid, like food, water, medical care and shelter, and ultimately longer-term recovery efforts. To that end, JPMorgan Chase is committing US$200,000 to Give2Asia, for the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation. The firm has launched a global employee matching campaign and will match employee donations dollar for dollar to select organizations.

During difficult times like these, the firm is committed to harnessing our resources to support local communities, clients and employees, and to help those in need. We will continue to monitor the situation and stay in contact with impacted areas to provide assistance where we can.
