Joshua Acre: What's really special about the Chase Center training is that it's a partnership not only between the Warriors and Chase and CityBuild but with the community.
Tyrone Willians: I've been living in San Francisco for 36 years. The community I grew up is just right up the street, Hunters Point area, and it's different now.
It's evolving, the community is getting stronger, it's more diverse, so it's good to be around.
Prentiss Jackson: Well, with any project, you're not simply building a physical structure, but you're building a new piece of a community. And within that practice, you need to bring the community in to help build the structure.
You can help provide economic stability to them, help ensure that locals are able to work on this project.
Tyrone Willians: I learned about the Chase opportunity from a friend, and he said, "Hey, you're a San Francisco resident, I know you're willing to work. Check out this opportunity, it should be awesome."
Being a par of the Chase Center, that would be awesome, because I will leave a piece of me behind, and also, I can show family members, friends, say, "Hey, I helped build that."
