I’m proud to lead Women on the Move, an expanded, global initiative focused on investing in and empowering women around the world.

JPMorgan Chase has long focused on the empowerment and advancement of our women employees. Building on that track record, we are now reaching externally to also focus on women clients, customers and the communities where we live and work. For all the great strides women have made, there is still more work to do.

The program has three main goals:

  • Make JPMorgan Chase the best company to work for women: Hire, develop and promote more women and make JPMorgan Chase an exceptional place for women to work.
  • Support women-owned businesses: Help women start and grow businesses through banking, credit and social responsibility. We expect to extend $10 billion in credit to women-owned businesses over the next three year.
  • Help women become more financially healthy: Improve financial health for women and their families.

With an unparalleled global franchise, roots in thousands of local communities and more than 250,000 employees, JPMorgan Chase is uniquely positioned to have a positive impact on the success of women and girls. We’re excited to increase our commitment in this area as we help create a more equitable world.

In solidarity,
Samantha Saperstein
