Sam Bader
Principal

Sam Bader is a Principal at Morgan Health.
Previously, Bader was at Northwell Holdings, the venture investing arm of Northwell Health, where she co-managed the health system’s venture portfolio. She was involved in all facets of the investment process — including sourcing, due diligence, transaction structuring and strategic oversight via board participation.
Prior to joining Northwell Holdings, Bader was an investor at Davidson Kempner and Avenue Capital, two NYC-based hedge funds, where she invested in public equities and debt of healthcare and technology companies. Bader started her career at Jefferies as an Analyst on the investment banking team.
Bader holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance and Healthcare Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Katie Bobroske
Vice President

Katherine Bobroske is a Vice President at Morgan Health.
As a data scientist, Bobroske supports Morgan Health’s strategic initiatives by partnering with collaborators on their clinical impact projections, staffing models, and data-based insights. She also contributes to Morgan Health’s health equity initiatives by working to establish a framework to measure and incentivize improvements in health disparities using medical and pharmaceutical claims data.
Bobroske trained in operations research engineering and has over a decade of experience in applying techniques related to optimization, machine learning, and econometrics to the healthcare industry at companies including McKesson, Evolent Health, and Haven.
Bobroske holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Cornell University and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

Tatiana Bujnoch
Associate

Tatiana Bujnoch is an External Affairs Associate at Morgan Health.
Tatiana comes to Morgan Health having completed a Congressional Health Policy Fellowship with the House Committee on Ways and Means - Subcommittee on Health. Prior to that, she completed her post-graduate residency training in Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership at Memorial Hermann in Houston, TX.
Tatiana graduated from Northeastern University with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmacy Administration and Leadership from the University of Houston.

Rivka Friedman
Managing Director

Rivka Friedman is Head of Healthcare Innovation at Morgan Health.
Previously, Friedman served as Group Director of the State and Population Health Group at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), which tests multi-payer initiatives aimed at reducing health care costs and improving population health among Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. The Group designed and operated 14 models, focused on preventing diabetes, heart attack, stroke, and substance use disorder-related deaths; addressing health-related social needs, expanding health care access in rural areas, and more.
Prior to joining CMMI, Friedman spent a decade at The Advisory Board Company, leading research on health care reform’s strategic implications for providers. She served as a strategic advisor to hospitals and health systems across the country, helping them navigate the impact of the ACA, MACRA, and other key legislative changes, as well as shifting market dynamics.
Friedman has served on the board of Young Invincibles, a non-partisan organization that works to amplify the voices of young people in national conversations about health care access and economic opportunity.
Friedman holds degrees from Barnard College and the Jewish Theological Seminary in Psychology and Talmudic Literature.

Nelly Ganesan
Executive Director

Nelly Ganesan is Executive Director of Health Equity and External Affairs at Morgan Health.
Ganesan supports advancing health equity among JPMorgan Chase employees and the communities where they live and work.
Ganesan has 20 years of experience in working in the quality and value space. She has special expertise in care models focused on CMS’ Triple Aim—better care, better health, and lower costs—and the use of patient-reported outcomes to enhance consumer experience for their entire care journey.
Ganesan joined Morgan Health after working at Avalere Health for 10 years providing advisory services support to a variety of clients, including health plans, life sciences, patient groups, health systems and foundations in the areas of quality, health equity, care transformation and measurement. Prior to joining Avalere, Nelly spent six years at the Institute for Health care Improvement, focused on population health and hospital-based quality improvement.
Ganesan has a strong passion for ensuring all individuals receive the right care at the right time regardless of their race, gender or financial situation.
Ganesan has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Global Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from the University of Oregon.

Andrew Geraghty
Principal

Andrew Geraghty is a Principal at Morgan Health.
In his role, Geraghty is focused on investing in promising healthcare solutions for both JPMorgan Chase employees and the employer sponsored healthcare system and executing on strategic initiatives that enhance JPMorgan Chase health benefits.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Geraghty worked in strategy and operations at Haven, the Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, JPMorgan Chase healthcare joint venture. Previously, Andrew worked in fixed income investment risk and analytics for Eaton Vance Management, in venture capital, and in business development with FinTech startups.
Geraghty holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from MIT Sloan.

Reed Goldberg
Associate

Reed Goldberg is an Associate on the Morgan Health Ventures Team at Morgan Health.
Previously, Reed served as a Ventures Associate at Healthbox where he supported the DaVita Venture Group Fund and managed Healthbox’s portfolio of accelerator investments. While at Healthbox Reed also served as an Innovation Associate, where he worked with health systems and payor groups to build digital strategies, commercialize internally developed IP, and source innovative solutions from the market.
Reed received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Northwestern University with a minor in Global Health Studies.

Caitlyn Hall
Associate

Caitlyn Hall is a Data Associate at Morgan Health.
In her role, Caitlyn is responsible for querying, compiling, manipulating, and synthesizing large quantities of health- related data to extract a story and provide insights to support Morgan Health’s Innovation, Ventures, and Health Equity teams.
Previously, Caitlyn was a healthcare data consultant at Cloudmed where she engineered hospital claims data audit strategies, developed dynamic data visualizations and built coding logic to identify reimbursement discrepancies within hospital revenue cycles.
Caitlyn has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from the University of Florida.

Pamela Harris
Senior Executive Assistant

Pamela Harris is the Senior Executive Assistant for Morgan Health at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Pam has spent 11 years at the firm working for senior managers in various Lines of Business including the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB), Corporate Controllers, Legal, Corporate Finance and Business Management, the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) and most recently, Global Philanthropy within the Corporate Responsibility.
Pam was the Co-Chair for the Sage BRG Tri-State Chapter and is currently one of the Co-Chairs for Sage North America. She is also a member of the User Experience Admin Advisory Council along with Kathy Will, Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Pam attended St. John’s University and currently lives in Washington, DC.

Dan Hartman
Partner

Dan Hartman is a Partner at Morgan Health and co-leads Morgan Health Ventures.
Hartman is focused on identifying high-potential, growth-oriented companies with innovative business models, deploying $250M of JPMorgan Chase capital, and developing mutually beneficial relationships with our partners.
Hartman led Morgan Health's first investment in Vera Whole Health, an innovative health care provider that offers coordinated care and an enhanced primary care experience to patients.
Previously, Hartman worked at Boston Consulting Group, Goldman Sachs and Beacon Health Options. He also served seven years in the U.S. Army Special Forces.
Hartman holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service.

Shanti Inderjit
Executive Assistant

Shanti Inderjit is Executive Assistant for the Head of Health Care Innovation at Morgan Health.
Shanti has 25 years of administrative experience supporting management teams across diverse industries.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Shanti worked as a C-Level Executive Assistant at Innovation Health and Inova Health System. Shanti also spent 10 years at Capital One providing direct support to a Vice President and five Directors. Shanti’s prior experience also includes companies like Exxon Mobil, Lehman Brothers and Brown Brothers Harriman.
Shanti holds an Associate of Science in Social Sciences from Northern Virginia Community College.

Clare Krusing
Executive Director

Clare Krusing is Executive Director for External Communications at Morgan Health. She helps lead engagement with press and key stakeholders around Morgan Health’s key priorities.
Previously, Clare served as a Managing Director at Reservoir Communications Group where she managed rapid response media efforts, crisis communications, brand management, and advocacy campaigns on behalf of health care clients. Prior to joining Reservoir, she was the lead spokesperson and press secretary for America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), the national trade association representing the health insurance industry. Clare oversaw the industry's communications strategy and media engagement on key policy issues, including the Affordable Care Act, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care, and federal and state legislative priorities. Before joining AHIP, Clare was an associate at APCO Worldwide, a global public affairs and strategic communications firm.
Clare has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland.

Emily Lindemer
Vice President

Emily Lindemer is Vice President of Healthcare Innovation at Morgan Health.
Emily completed her PhD in the Harvard-MIT joint division of Health Sciences and Technology. Her career has centered around building data science and analytics teams and infrastructure within the health tech industry at companies such as IBM Watson Health, Wellframe, and Cityblock. Her role at Morgan Health is centered on developing a robust data strategy for the organization from analytics, infrastructure, and investment perspectives, as well as deriving meaningful insights from the rich data sources at Morgan Health.
Emily has carried a focus on health equity and social determinants of health throughout her career, and founded a digital health company for individuals in recovery for substance use disorder in 2016. She is also passionate about the education of women in science and tech and has taught for Girls Who Code, Udacity, and chaired the MIT Graduate Women’s Association.
Emily is currently an instructor at MIT where she teaches a multi-semester graduate-level course that covers global health, policy & innovation, ethics, and entrepreneurship and business in healthcare. She has authored numerous publications on the applications of machine learning and data science to aspects of healthcare spanning medical image processing to population health. She was also named one of Boston’s 40 Under 40 for Healthcare Innovation.

Borislava Marcheva
Vice President

Borislava Marcheva is Vice President of Marketplace Intelligence for Morgan Health. In her role, Marcheva evaluates innovative healthcare technologies and leading trends in employer-sponsored health insurance.
Previously, Marcheva led the Market Intelligence Team at Rally Health, a subsidiary of United Healthcare Group, where she monitored healthcare technologies in the wellness, digital therapeutics, price transparency, navigation, and consumer engagement markets. Prior to that, Marcheva worked in a strategy and operations role at Avalere Health, and in a consulting role at the Advisory Board Company.
Marcheva holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Smith College, and a Master of Arts (MA) from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and two young children.

Dan Mendelson
Chief Executive Officer

Dan Mendelson is the Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Health at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Mendelson oversees a business unit at JPMorgan Chase focused on accelerating the delivery of new care models that improve the quality, equity and affordability of employer-sponsored health care.
Mendelson was previously Founder and CEO of Avalere Health, a health care advisory company based in Washington, D.C. He also served as Operating Partner at Welsh Carson, a private equity firm.
Before founding Avalere, Mendelson served as associate director for Health at the Office of Management and Budget in the Clinton White House.
Mendelson currently serves on the boards of Vera Whole Health and Champions Oncology (CSBR). He is also an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. He previously served on the boards of Coventry Health care, HMS Holdings, Pharmerica, Partners in Primary Care, Centrexion, and Audacious Inquiry.
Mendelson holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Oberlin College, and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Simeon Niles
Vice President

Simeon Niles is a Vice President of Heath Care Innovation at Morgan Health.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Simeon was a Senior Advisor in the Prevention and Population Health Group at the CMS Innovation Center where he advised senior management and led the development of innovative healthcare programs.
Simeon holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University in Atlanta, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Hunter College in New York City.

Anne Pace
Managing Director

Anne Pace leads communications for Morgan Health. Anne and her team developed the communications strategy and launch of Morgan Health in May 2021. The team promotes Morgan Health’s thought leadership through social media and internet channels, drives awareness of Morgan Health’s strategy through public relations, content strategy and partners with JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s HR Benefits to educate JPMorgan Chase employees across the firm on Morgan Health.
Anne has more than 20 years of communications experience. She has been with JPMorgan Chase for more than five years, leading communications for Chase Consumer & Business Banking. In that role, Anne was responsible for all public relations, executive communications and internal communications for the business. Anne and team helped drive awareness for Chase’s digital and physical transformation and Chase’s first major branch expansion in 10 years. The team also launched a new financial inclusion and empowerment program, including new tools, products, and thought leadership to build financial health and wealth for all consumers.
Prior to JPMorgan Chase, Anne was a Communications Executive at Bank of America for ten years leading communications for Consumer & Business Banking, managing employee communications in Global Wealth & Investment Management and media relations for the Northeast region and its Arts & Culture program. Anne also spent more than 10 years at EMC Corporation leading various PR efforts globally.
Anne lives with her husband and two children in Lloyd Harbor, New York.

Cheryl Pegus
Partner

Dr. Cheryl Pegus is a Partner at Morgan Health supporting the Morgan Health Ventures team.
Dr. Pegus joins Morgan Health from Walmart, where she served as Executive Vice President of Health & Wellness, leading the company’s bold health care vision and consumer-facing programs designed to raise the standard of care for millions of Americans. She has been consistently recognized as one of the most influential clinical executives in the country.
Dr. Pegus brings more than 20 years of experience across the health sector to support Morgan Health’s vision and mission. Prior to joining Walmart, Dr. Pegus served as President of Consumer Solutions and Chief Medical Officer for Cambia Health Solutions. She also served as the first chief medical officer at Walgreens and as General Manager and Chief Medical Officer for SymCare Personalized Health Solutions, a diabetes-focused division of Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Pegus also had roles at Pfizer, where she focused on the development of clinical protocols and early disease management programs, and Aetna, where her work supported a focus on wellness, women's health, health equity initiatives and predictive analytics. She began her career in private practice as a cardiologist and previously served as board chair for the Association of Black Cardiologists. Dr. Pegus is co-founder of A New Beat and has served on the board of the American Heart Association as well as public and private companies.
In addition to her role at Morgan Health, Dr. Pegus will continue to serve as a senior advisor to Walmart and will be joining Atria.
Dr. Pegus received her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and her medical doctorate from Weill Cornell Medical College. She received her master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.

Orriel L. Richardson
Vice President

Orriel L. Richardson, Esq., MPH is Vice President of Health Equity and Policy at Morgan Health.
Richardson is a health care policy expert and attorney licensed to practice in Maryland and Washington, DC.
Previously, Richardson served as professional staff and health counsel for the Committee on Ways and Means Majority, U.S. House of Representatives where she was the architect of the Committee's racial and health equity initiatives. While on the Hill, her policy portfolio included Medicare Advantage, end-stage renal disease, Medicare program integrity, and health technology.
During her career, Richardson has gained health care expertise across academia and local, state, and federal levels of government, formerly working at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Innovation Center, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; the Office of the General Counsel for the District of Columbia’s Department of Health Care Finance; the George Washington (GW) University School of Public Health; The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; the State of Louisiana Office of Public Health; and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
Since 2018 she has been a Professorial Lecturer of Health Policy and Management in the Milken School of Public Health at GW University.
In 2021, the National Minority Quality forum awarded her with the Congressional Staff Leadership Award after recognizing her in 2020 as a “40 Under 40” Minority Leader in Health.
Richardson received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in biology/pre-medicine from Howard University, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in health systems management from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and law degree from the GW Law School where she also earned a graduate certificate in International Human Rights Law from New College, University of Oxford.

Jeff Ries
Partner

Jeff Ries is a Partner at Morgan Health and co-leads Morgan Health Ventures.
Ries is focused on supporting Morgan Health’s mission by identifying high-potential, growth-oriented companies with innovative business models, deploying $250mm of JPMC capital, and developing mutually beneficial relationships with our partners.
Previously, Ries was Managing Director at Healthbox, where he led all venture investment activities, including the management of the DaVita Venture Fund and Intermountain Health Care Innovation Fund.
Prior to joining Healthbox, Ries was formerly at Oxeon Partners where he focused on building and investing in health care companies.
Ries was also an investor at Sandbox Industries where he helped manage BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, a $500M+ health care fund. While at Sandbox, Ries started several tech-enabled startups and helped raise capital for Cultivian Sandbox, an agriculture-technology venture fund. He began his career at LaSalle Investment Management, a private equity firm with $50B AUM.
Ries received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School.

Fatema Salam
Vice President

Fatema Salam is Vice President of Health Care Innovation at Morgan Health.
Salam joined Morgan Heath from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) where she served as the model and policy lead for the Vermont All-Payer Accountable Care Organization (ACO) model, a CMMI initiative to facilitate aligned, multi-payer ACO programs, scaled across the state. Prior to that, Salam was part of the Aligning Forces for Quality initiative and advised community-wide, multi-stakeholder leadership teams funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation on accelerating achievement of quality of care and outcome goals at the regional-level. Earlier on, she was Senior Program Director at the National Quality Forum where she led national committees on evidence-based health care performance measures, practices and tools for quality improvement and public reporting for a variety of health care topics.
Salam has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and Political Science from Dickinson College.

David Salaverry
Chief Financial Officer

David Salaverry is Chief Financial Officer for Morgan Health and JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Responsibility (CR) Department and Treasurer & Board member of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation. CR includes Global Government Relations, Global Philanthropy, Research & Policy and Sustainable Finance. As CFO, David also oversees the Firm’s global E.S.G. commitments.
In this role, David directly supports an Operating Committee member and leads a global team for CR across finance & business management, planning & analysis, grants management, technology, controls, risk management, and real estate, helping build CR for scale, strengthen CR’s financial and operational platforms and position CR for future growth.
Prior to joining Corporate Responsibility, David spent five years as CFO and Head of Business Management for JPMorgan’s U.S. Private Bank, one of the largest providers of wealth management services with more than $700 billion in client assets. David managed a national team across the U.S. and in Mumbai and was responsible for all financial & business management for the Private Bank, partnering with the CEO to drive growth across the business, including implementation of key strategic priorities and compensation programs.
Over his 18 years at JPMorgan, David has held a variety of leadership positions, including Global Head of Strategy & Business Development for the Investment Bank and senior member of the Investment Bank Strategic Investments team (overseeing a $1 billion+ portfolio). David also spent four years at Bear Stearns as a senior member of the Corporate Strategy Group and started his career as a Strategy Consultant with the Mitchell Madison Group, advising global financial services clients.
David holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.
David lives in New York City with his wife and two sons.

Stephen Scott
Principal

Stephen Scott is a Principal at Morgan Health.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Scott led product and growth strategy for a startup, operating clinical data registries and offering real world data products to medical device companies.
Scott also previously worked at consulting firm Avalere Health, where he advised payer, provider, and medical device company clients on value-based payment arrangements. Scott led a variety of data analytics initiatives to build Avalere’s service offerings in Medicare bundled payments, Accountable Care Organizations, provider quality measurement, and spent time in software product management with Avalere’s parent company, Inovalon.
Scott holds an Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cambridge, where he focused on entrepreneurship and worked with healthcare organizations in the UK and Norway.

Kimberly Abernathy Sharp
Executive Director

Kimberly Abernathy Sharp is Executive Director for Internal Communications at Morgan Health. She leads the strategy to build awareness of Morgan Health, its strategic ambitions and new initiatives amongst JPMorgan Chase’s 250,000+ employees.
Previously, Kimberly served as the Global Head of Internal Communications for Nasdaq, where she led the internal communications strategy for the firm—including executive communications, employee engagement, culture building, M&A, crisis communications, brand strategy, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She also led Nasdaq's Covid-19 communications strategy.
Prior to joining Nasdaq, Kimberly held a number of roles within the healthcare industry. She spent ten years at Pfizer, during which time she served as a strategy manager for the Sales/Marketing, Global Commercial Operations, and Human Resources departments before joining Corporate Affairs to manage Internal Communications for the Established Products business. She has also led Internal and Employee Communications for Bayer’s Medical Care business and the NYU Langone Health System in New York.
Kimberly has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Liberal Arts from Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Arts (MA) from Emerson College.

Scott Smith
Vice President

Scott M. Smith is Vice President of Health Care Innovation at Morgan Health.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Smith spent a decade at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, the largest health plan in the mid-Atlantic region. While there, Smith held a number of leadership roles within the payer’s commercial market division and most recently led enterprise strategy and planning. Scott began his career with the United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.
Smith has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Xavier University.

Sriya Srinath
Associate

Sriya Srinath is an Associate on the Morgan Health Ventures team.
Previously, Sriya worked in partnerships at Flatiron Health, where she supported biopharma companies in advancing their research priorities. Prior to joining Flatiron Health, Sriya worked at L.E.K. Consulting where she focused on M&A and growth strategy for healthcare services and life sciences clients.
Sriya received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics with a minor in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley.

Brooke Thurston
Executive Director

Brooke Thurston is Chief of Staff and Head of External Affairs for Morgan Health.
Thurston is responsible for supporting strategy, operations and external affairs for the firms business unit focused on driving innovation in the employer-sponsored health care marketplace.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Thurston served in a similar role at Haven, the Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, JPMorgan Chase health care joint venture. She also previously worked for Steward Health Care System, a large integrated health care system.
Thurston started her career in Washington, D.C. working on Capitol Hill and then for VOX Global, a bipartisan public affairs firm.
Thurston holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government from Colby College.

Vily Tong
Vice President

Vily Tong is the Reporting Lead for Morgan Health.
Vily is a key partner in Morgan Health’s Impact Framework refresh and reporting, as well as analytics and visualization support for the team.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Vily held various positions across JPMorgan Chase & Co., having joined the firm in 2005. Most recently, she was a Sr. Business Management Associate in Consumer and Community Banking Operations Finance, where she was responsible for managing the budget and forecast process and reporting, as well as conducting financial and strategic analytics projects.
Vily holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from The Ohio State University, and is currently pursuing a Data Analytics focused Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southern New Hampshire University.

Marina Wong
Executive Director

Marina Wong is the Head of Finance & Business Management for Morgan Health.
In this role, Marina serves as a key advisor to the CEO, Chief of Staff and the broader Morgan Health leadership team. Ana Capella
Head of Strategic Investments

Ana Capella is Managing Director and Head of Strategic Investments. She leads a global team of investment professionals who make minority investments in emerging tech companies that are strategic to the firm’s lines of business. These investments aim to help drive innovation and digital transformation across the firm.
Prior to this role, Ana was Head of Heritage Private Equity, which encompassed all the private equity activities (both direct and through investments in third party funds) made by the firm with its own capital.
Ana joined J.P. Morgan in 1993 and held several positions across the Corporate & Investment Bank, in Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Institutions Group, handling transactions across Latin America. She also served in various Corporate roles, including with Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations and the Chief Investment Office, where she worked closely with the CFO during the Bank One merger, and sourced and analyzed new private equity investment opportunities. She was responsible for all the private investments operations across the firm, including after the merger with Bear Stearns, and led the investment strategy for third party funds’ investments.
Originally from Spain, Ana made her way to New York by way of London and Madrid. Prior to business school, Ana worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. Ana earned an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France) in July 1993 and a BA in Business Administration from CUNEF (Madrid, Spain) in 1990. Ana is fluent in Spanish (Native), English and French.

Laura Cumming
Firmwide Risk Executive for Principal Risk

Laura Cumming is Firmwide Risk Executive for Principal Risk at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Her team is directly responsible for risk oversight for principal investing in the CIB and CTC and coordinates with LOB CRO’s for the oversight of principal investing exposures elsewhere in the Firm. All principal investing activity is subject to rigorous investing criteria and underwriting, with risk limits and explicit governance in place for all authorized investing businesses. Laura is also a member of various investment approval committees across the Firm.
Previously, Laura was a leader in Country Risk Management for 15 years, successfully building risk management and governance frameworks, spending six years in Hong Kong as head of Country Risk Asia Pacific and more recently also as Hong Kong’s Chief Risk Officer. Under Laura’s leadership, her team was responsible for internal sovereign ratings, country analysis and country limits management in the region. They conducted fundamental macro-economic and political analysis, rated countries internally, and managed and enforced firm-wide country limits across all products, lines of business and relevant geographic regions.
During her more than 25 years at JPMorgan Chase, Laura has worked in various risk groups and frontline areas at the firm, including credit risk management, loan capital markets in London and the Commercial Bank, all giving her a diverse perspective on products, risks and processes.
Prior to joining the firm, Laura was a media/telecom banker at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Robin Leopold
Head of Human Resources

Robin Leopold is an Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources for JPMorgan Chase, and a member of the company’s Operating Committee. Prior to assuming this role in January 2018, Robin held a number of leadership positions in Human Resources, including Human Resources Executive for J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank, Human Resources Executive supporting the Corporate functions, and she also led Chase’s Mortgage Banking Human Resources team during the business transformation.
Before joining JPMorgan Chase in 2010, Robin spent more than 20 years at Citi and its predecessor companies, starting at Shearson Lehman Hutton. Over the years, Robin has worked in a variety of disciplines, including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and generalist functions supporting multiple lines of businesses. For over a decade, she was the Head of Human Resources for the wealth management businesses, which included Smith Barney, the Private Bank and Investment Research. After the sale of Smith Barney, Robin spent her last year at Citi leading the Human Resources team supporting Citi Holdings, Citi’s divesting businesses.

Scher is the firm’s senior business executive for the Mid-Atlantic Region — one of the largest economic regions in the United States — and oversees the firm’s global Corporate Responsibility department, including its public policy efforts, the J.P. Morgan International Council and Morgan Health, a new business unit focused on improving the quality of healthcare for the firm’s employees and creating new models for employer-based healthcare.
Scher led the firm’s $200 million investment in the revitalization of Detroit, which has been featured on 60 Minutes, profiled by Fortune Magazine in ranking JPMorgan Chase number one on its list of companies “Changing the World” and chronicled by Harvard Business School as a case study for inclusive capitalism. Managing Director

Rivka Friedman is Head of Healthcare Innovation at Morgan Health.
Previously, Friedman served as Group Director of the State and Population Health Group at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), which tests multi-payer initiatives aimed at reducing health care costs and improving population health among Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. The Group designed and operated 14 models, focused on preventing diabetes, heart attack, stroke, and substance use disorder-related deaths; addressing health-related social needs, expanding health care access in rural areas, and more.
Prior to joining CMMI, Friedman spent a decade at The Advisory Board Company, leading research on health care reform’s strategic implications for providers. She served as a strategic advisor to hospitals and health systems across the country, helping them navigate the impact of the ACA, MACRA, and other key legislative changes, as well as shifting market dynamics.
Friedman has served on the board of Young Invincibles, a non-partisan organization that works to amplify the voices of young people in national conversations about health care access and economic opportunity.
Friedman holds degrees from Barnard College and the Jewish Theological Seminary in Psychology and Talmudic Literature.

Nelly Ganesan
Executive Director

Nelly Ganesan is Executive Director for Health Equity at Morgan Health.
Ganesan supports advancing health equity among JPMorgan Chase employees and the communities where they live and work.
Ganesan has 20 years of experience in working in the quality and value space. She has special expertise in care models focused on CMS’ Triple Aim—better care, better health, and lower costs—and the use of patient-reported outcomes to enhance consumer experience for their entire care journey.
Ganesan joined Morgan Health after working at Avalere Health for 10 years providing advisory services support to a variety of clients, including health plans, life sciences, patient groups, health systems and foundations in the areas of quality, health equity, care transformation and measurement. Prior to joining Avalere, Nelly spent six years at the Institute for Health care Improvement, focused on population health and hospital-based quality improvement.
Ganesan has a strong passion for ensuring all individuals receive the right care at the right time regardless of their race, gender or financial situation.
Ganesan has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Global Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from the University of Oregon.

Hartman is focused on identifying high-potential, growth-oriented companies with innovative business models, deploying $250M of JPMorgan Chase capital, and developing mutually beneficial relationships with our partners.
Hartman led Morgan Health's first investment in Vera Whole Health, an innovative health care provider that offers coordinated care and an enhanced primary care experience to patients.
Previously, Hartman worked at Boston Consulting Group, Goldman Sachs and Beacon Health Options. He also served seven years in the U.S. Army Special Forces.

Anne Pace leads communications for Morgan Health. Anne and her team developed the communications strategy and launch of Morgan Health in May 2021. The team promotes Morgan Health’s thought leadership through social media and internet channels, drives awareness of Morgan Health’s strategy through public relations, content strategy and partners with JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s HR Benefits to educate JPMorgan Chase employees across the firm on Morgan Health.
Anne has more than 20 years of communications experience. She has been with JPMorgan Chase for more than five years, leading communications for Chase Consumer & Business Banking. In that role, Anne was responsible for all public relations, executive communications and internal communications for the business. Anne and team helped drive awareness for Chase’s digital and physical transformation and Chase’s first major branch expansion in 10 years. The team also launched a new financial inclusion and empowerment program, including new tools, products, and thought leadership to build financial health and wealth for all consumers.
Prior to JPMorgan Chase, Anne was a Communications Executive at Bank of America for ten years leading communications for Consumer & Business Banking, managing employee communications in Global Wealth & Investment Management and media relations for the Northeast region and its Arts & Culture program. Anne also spent more than 10 years at EMC Corporation leading various PR efforts globally.

Cheryl Pegus

Dr. Cheryl Pegus is Managing Director supporting the Morgan Health Ventures team.
Dr. Pegus joins Morgan Health from Walmart, where she served as Executive Vice President of Health & Wellness, leading the company’s bold health care vision and consumer-facing programs designed to raise the standard of care for millions of Americans. She has been consistently recognized as one of the most influential clinical executives in the country.
Dr. Pegus brings more than 20 years of experience across the health sector to support Morgan Health’s vision and mission. Prior to joining Walmart, Dr. Pegus served as President of Consumer Solutions and Chief Medical Officer for Cambia Health Solutions. She also served as the first chief medical officer at Walgreens and as General Manager and Chief Medical Officer for SymCare Personalized Health Solutions, a diabetes-focused division of Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Pegus also had roles at Pfizer, where she focused on the development of clinical protocols and early disease management programs, and Aetna, where her work supported a focus on wellness, women's health, health equity initiatives and predictive analytics. She began her career in private practice as a cardiologist and previously served as board chair for the Association of Black Cardiologists. Dr. Pegus is co-founder of A New Beat and has served on the board of the American Heart Association as well as public and private companies.
In addition to her role at Morgan Health, Dr. Pegus will continue to serve as a senior advisor to Walmart and will be joining Atria.
Dr. Pegus received her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and her medical doctorate from Weill Cornell Medical College. She received her master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.

Jeff Ries

Jeff Ries co-leads Morgan Health Ventures at Morgan Health.
Reis is focused on supporting Morgan Health’s mission by identifying high-potential, growth-oriented companies with innovative business models, deploying $250mm of JPMC capital, and developing mutually beneficial relationships with our partners.
Previously, Ries was Managing Director at Healthbox, where he led all venture investment activities, including the management of the DaVita Venture Fund and Intermountain Health Care Innovation Fund.
Prior to joining Healthbox, Ries was formerly at Oxeon Partners where he focused on building and investing in health care companies.
Reis was also an investor at Sandbox Industries where he helped manage BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, a $500M+ health care fund. While at Sandbox, Jeff started several tech-enabled startups and helped raise capital for Cultivian Sandbox, an agriculture-technology venture fund. He began his career at LaSalle Investment Management, a private equity firm with $50B AUM.

David Salaverry
Chief Financial Officer

David Salaverry is Chief Financial Officer for Morgan Health and JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Responsibility (CR) Department and Treasurer & Board member of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation. CR includes Global Government Relations, Global Philanthropy, Research & Policy and Sustainable Finance. As CFO, David also oversees the Firm’s global E.S.G. commitments.
In this role, David directly supports an Operating Committee member and leads a global team for CR across finance & business management, planning & analysis, grants management, technology, controls, risk management, and real estate, helping build CR for scale, strengthen CR’s financial and operational platforms and position CR for future growth.
Prior to joining Corporate Responsibility, David spent five years as CFO and Head of Business Management for JPMorgan’s U.S. Private Bank, one of the largest providers of wealth management services with more than $700 billion in client assets. David managed a national team across the U.S. and in Mumbai and was responsible for all financial & business management for the Private Bank, partnering with the CEO to drive growth across the business, including implementation of key strategic priorities and compensation programs.
Over his 18 years at JPMorgan, David has held a variety of leadership positions, including Global Head of Strategy & Business Development for the Investment Bank and senior member of the Investment Bank Strategic Investments team (overseeing a $1 billion+ portfolio). David also spent four years at Bear Stearns as a senior member of the Corporate Strategy Group and started his career as a Strategy Consultant with the Mitchell Madison Group, advising global financial services clients.

Brooke Thurston is Chief of Staff and Head of External Affairs for Morgan Health.
Thurston is responsible for supporting strategy, operations and external affairs for the firms business unit focused on driving innovation in the employer-sponsored health care marketplace.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Thurston served in a similar role at Haven, the Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, JPMorgan Chase health care joint venture. She also previously worked for Steward Health Care System, a large integrated health care system.
Thurston started her career in Washington, D.C. working on Capitol Hill and then for VOX Global, a bipartisan public affairs firm.

Katie Bobroske
Vice President

Katherine Bobroske is a Vice President at Morgan Health.
As a data scientist, Bobroske supports Morgan Health’s strategic initiatives by partnering with collaborators on their clinical impact projections, staffing models, and data-based insights. She also contributes to Morgan Health’s health equity initiatives by working to establish a framework to measure and incentivize improvements in health disparities using medical and pharmaceutical claims data.
Bobroske trained in operations research engineering and has over a decade of experience in applying techniques related to optimization, machine learning, and econometrics to the healthcare industry at companies including McKesson, Evolent Health, and Haven.
Bobroske holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Cornell University and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

Caitlyn Hall is a Data Associate at Morgan Health.
In her role, Caitlyn is responsible for querying, compiling, manipulating, and synthesizing large quantities of health- related data to extract a story and provide insights to support Morgan Health’s Innovation, Ventures, and Health Equity teams.
Previously, Caitlyn was a healthcare data consultant at Cloudmed where she engineered hospital claims data audit strategies, developed dynamic data visualizations and built coding logic to identify reimbursement discrepancies within hospital revenue cycles.

Shanti Inderjit

Shanti Inderjit is Executive Assistant for the Head of Health Care Innovation at Morgan Health.
Shanti has 25 years of administrative experience supporting management teams across diverse industries.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Shanti worked as a C-Level Executive Assistant at Innovation Health and Inova Health System. Shanti also spent 10 years at Capital One providing direct support to a Vice President and five Directors. Shanti’s prior experience also includes companies like Exxon Mobil, Lehman Brothers and Brown Brothers Harriman.

Emily Lindemer
Vice President

Emily Lindemer is Vice President of Healthcare Innovation at Morgan Health.
Emily completed her PhD in the Harvard-MIT joint division of Health Sciences and Technology. Her career has centered around building data science and analytics teams and infrastructure within the health tech industry at companies such as IBM Watson Health, Wellframe, and Cityblock. Her role at Morgan Health is centered on developing a robust data strategy for the organization from analytics, infrastructure, and investment perspectives, as well as deriving meaningful insights from the rich data sources at Morgan Health.
Emily has carried a focus on health equity and social determinants of health throughout her career, and founded a digital health company for individuals in recovery for substance use disorder in 2016. She is also passionate about the education of women in science and tech and has taught for Girls Who Code, Udacity, and chaired the MIT Graduate Women’s Association.
Emily is currently an instructor at MIT where she teaches a multi-semester graduate-level course that covers global health, policy & innovation, ethics, and entrepreneurship and business in healthcare. She has authored numerous publications on the applications of machine learning and data science to aspects of healthcare spanning medical image processing to population health. She was also named one of Boston’s 40 Under 40 for Healthcare Innovation.

Simeon Niles

Simeon Niles is a Vice President of Heath Care Innovation at Morgan Health.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Simeon was a Senior Advisor in the Prevention and Population Health Group at the CMS Innovation Center where he advised senior management and led the development of innovative healthcare programs.
Simeon holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University in Atlanta, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Hunter College in New York City.

Fatema Salam
Vice President

Fatema Salam is Vice President of Health Care Innovation at Morgan Health.
Salam joined Morgan Heath from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) where she served as the model and policy lead for the Vermont All-Payer Accountable Care Organization (ACO) model, a CMMI initiative to facilitate aligned, multi-payer ACO programs, scaled across the state. Prior to that, Salam was part of the Aligning Forces for Quality initiative and advised community-wide, multi-stakeholder leadership teams funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation on accelerating achievement of quality of care and outcome goals at the regional-level. Earlier on, she was Senior Program Director at the National Quality Forum where she led national committees on evidence-based health care performance measures, practices and tools for quality improvement and public reporting for a variety of health care topics.
Salam has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and Political Science from Dickinson College.

Prior to joining Morgan Health, Smith spent a decade at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, the largest health plan in the mid-Atlantic region. While there, Smith held a number of leadership roles within the payer’s commercial market division and most recently led enterprise strategy and planning. Scott began his career with the United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.

Sam Bader
Principal

Sam Bader is a Principal at Morgan Health.
Previously, Bader was at Northwell Holdings, the venture investing arm of Northwell Health, where she co-managed the health system’s venture portfolio. She was involved in all facets of the investment process — including sourcing, due diligence, transaction structuring and strategic oversight via board participation.
Prior to joining Northwell Holdings, Bader was an investor at Davidson Kempner and Avenue Capital, two NYC-based hedge funds, where she invested in public equities and debt of healthcare and technology companies. Bader started her career at Jefferies as an Analyst on the investment banking team.
Bader holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance and Healthcare Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Andrew Geraghty
Principal

Andrew Geraghty is a Principal at Morgan Health.
In his role, Geraghty is focused on investing in promising healthcare solutions for both JPMorgan Chase employees and the employer sponsored healthcare system and executing on strategic initiatives that enhance JPMorgan Chase health benefits.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Geraghty worked in strategy and operations at Haven, the Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, JPMorgan Chase healthcare joint venture. Previously, Andrew worked in fixed income investment risk and analytics for Eaton Vance Management, in venture capital, and in business development with FinTech startups.
Geraghty holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from MIT Sloan.

Reed Goldberg
Associate

Reed Goldberg is an Associate on the Morgan Health Ventures Team at Morgan Health.
Previously, Reed served as a Ventures Associate at Healthbox where he supported the DaVita Venture Group Fund and managed Healthbox’s portfolio of accelerator investments. While at Healthbox Reed also served as an Innovation Associate, where he worked with health systems and payor groups to build digital strategies, commercialize internally developed IP, and source innovative solutions from the market.
Reed received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Northwestern University with a minor in Global Health Studies.
Dan Hartman

Dan Hartman is a Partner at Morgan Health and co-leads Morgan Health Ventures.
Hartman is focused on identifying high-potential, growth-oriented companies with innovative business models, deploying $250M of JPMorgan Chase capital, and developing mutually beneficial relationships with our partners.
Hartman led Morgan Health's first investment in Vera Whole Health, an innovative health care provider that offers coordinated care and an enhanced primary care experience to patients.
Previously, Hartman worked at Boston Consulting Group, Goldman Sachs and Beacon Health Options. He also served seven years in the U.S. Army Special Forces.
Hartman holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service.

Borislava Marcheva
Vice President

Borislava Marcheva is Vice President of Marketplace Intelligence for Morgan Health. In her role, Marcheva evaluates innovative healthcare technologies and leading trends in employer-sponsored health insurance.
Previously, Marcheva led the Market Intelligence Team at Rally Health, a subsidiary of United Healthcare Group, where she monitored healthcare technologies in the wellness, digital therapeutics, price transparency, navigation, and consumer engagement markets. Prior to that, Marcheva worked in a strategy and operations role at Avalere Health, and in a consulting role at the Advisory Board Company.
Marcheva holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Smith College, and a Master of Arts (MA) from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and two young children.

Cheryl Pegus

Dr. Cheryl Pegus is a Partner at Morgan Health supporting the Morgan Health Ventures team.
Dr. Pegus joins Morgan Health from Walmart, where she served as Executive Vice President of Health & Wellness, leading the company’s bold health care vision and consumer-facing programs designed to raise the standard of care for millions of Americans. She has been consistently recognized as one of the most influential clinical executives in the country.
Dr. Pegus brings more than 20 years of experience across the health sector to support Morgan Health’s vision and mission. Prior to joining Walmart, Dr. Pegus served as President of Consumer Solutions and Chief Medical Officer for Cambia Health Solutions. She also served as the first chief medical officer at Walgreens and as General Manager and Chief Medical Officer for SymCare Personalized Health Solutions, a diabetes-focused division of Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Pegus also had roles at Pfizer, where she focused on the development of clinical protocols and early disease management programs, and Aetna, where her work supported a focus on wellness, women's health, health equity initiatives and predictive analytics. She began her career in private practice as a cardiologist and previously served as board chair for the Association of Black Cardiologists. Dr. Pegus is co-founder of A New Beat and has served on the board of the American Heart Association as well as public and private companies.
In addition to her role at Morgan Health, Dr. Pegus will continue to serve as a senior advisor to Walmart and will be joining Atria.
Dr. Pegus received her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and her medical doctorate from Weill Cornell Medical College. She received her master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
Jeff Ries
Partner

Jeff Ries is a Partner at Morgan Health and co-leads Morgan Health Ventures.
Reis is focused on supporting Morgan Health’s mission by identifying high-potential, growth-oriented companies with innovative business models, deploying $250mm of JPMC capital, and developing mutually beneficial relationships with our partners.
Previously, Ries was Managing Director at Healthbox, where he led all venture investment activities, including the management of the DaVita Venture Fund and Intermountain Health Care Innovation Fund.
Prior to joining Healthbox, Ries was formerly at Oxeon Partners where he focused on building and investing in health care companies.
Reis was also an investor at Sandbox Industries where he helped manage BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, a $500M+ health care fund. While at Sandbox, Jeff started several tech-enabled startups and helped raise capital for Cultivian Sandbox, an agriculture-technology venture fund. He began his career at LaSalle Investment Management, a private equity firm with $50B AUM.
Ries received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School.

Stephen Scott

Stephen Scott is a Principal at Morgan Health.
Prior to joining Morgan Health, Scott led product and growth strategy for a startup, operating clinical data registries and offering real world data products to medical device companies.
Scott also previously worked at consulting firm Avalere Health, where he advised payer, provider, and medical device company clients on value-based payment arrangements. Scott led a variety of data analytics initiatives to build Avalere’s service offerings in Medicare bundled payments, Accountable Care Organizations, provider quality measurement, and spent time in software product management with Avalere’s parent company, Inovalon.
Scott holds an Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cambridge, where he focused on entrepreneurship and worked with healthcare organizations in the UK and Norway.

Sriya Srinath

Sriya Srinath is an Associate on the Morgan Health Ventures team.
Previously, Sriya worked in partnerships at Flatiron Health, where she supported biopharma companies in advancing their research priorities. Prior to joining Flatiron Health, Sriya worked at L.E.K. Consulting where she focused on M&A and growth strategy for healthcare services and life sciences clients.
Sriya received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics with a minor in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley.

Tatiana Bujnoch
Associate

Tatiana Bujnoch is an External Affairs Associate at Morgan Health.
Tatiana comes to Morgan Health having completed a Congressional Health Policy Fellowship with the House Committee on Ways and Means - Subcommittee on Health. Prior to that, she completed her post-graduate residency training in Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership at Memorial Hermann in Houston, TX.
Tatiana graduated from Northeastern University with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmacy Administration and Leadership from the University of Houston.

Nelly Ganesan
Executive Director

Nelly Ganesan is Executive Director for Health Equity and External Affairs at Morgan Health at Morgan Health.
Ganesan supports advancing health equity among JPMorgan Chase employees and the communities where they live and work.
Ganesan has 20 years of experience in working in the quality and value space. She has special expertise in care models focused on CMS’ Triple Aim—better care, better health, and lower costs—and the use of patient-reported outcomes to enhance consumer experience for their entire care journey.
Ganesan joined Morgan Health after working at Avalere Health for 10 years providing advisory services support to a variety of clients, including health plans, life sciences, patient groups, health systems and foundations in the areas of quality, health equity, care transformation and measurement. Prior to joining Avalere, Nelly spent six years at the Institute for Health care Improvement, focused on population health and hospital-based quality improvement.
Ganesan has a strong passion for ensuring all individuals receive the right care at the right time regardless of their race, gender or financial situation.
Ganesan has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Global Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from the University of Oregon.

Orriel L. Richardson
Vice President

Orriel L. Richardson, Esq., MPH is Vice President of Health Equity and Policy at Morgan Health
Richardson is a health care policy expert and attorney licensed to practice in Maryland and Washington, DC.
Previously, Richardson served as professional staff and health counsel for the Committee on Ways and Means Majority, U.S. House of Representatives where she was the architect of the Committee's racial and health equity initiatives. While on the Hill, her policy portfolio included Medicare Advantage, end-stage renal disease, Medicare program integrity, and health technology.
During her career, Richardson has gained health care expertise across academia and local, state, and federal levels of government, formerly working at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Innovation Center, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; the Office of the General Counsel for the District of Columbia’s Department of Health Care Finance; the George Washington (GW) University School of Public Health; The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; the State of Louisiana Office of Public Health; and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
Since 2018 she has been a Professorial Lecturer of Health Policy and Management in the Milken School of Public Health at GW University.
In 2021, the National Minority Quality forum awarded her with the Congressional Staff Leadership Award after recognizing her in 2020 as a “40 Under 40” Minority Leader in Health.
Richardson received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in biology/pre-medicine from Howard University, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in health systems management from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and law degree from the GW Law School where she also earned a graduate certificate in International Human Rights Law from New College, University of Oxford.
