Recruiting

To help us identify individuals for open positions in the firm, J.P. Morgan has formal relationships with colleges and programs globally to source BA and MBA students from diverse groups. We also sponsor and participate in a variety of recruiting events and job fairs that attract candidates from diverse backgrounds. For example, in the U.K., we sponsor the Banking Diversity Fair and the Women in the City Fair and in the U.S., we participate in Reaching Out, a conference run by and for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered MBA students.

In addition, we have established firm-sponsored programs that provide internship opportunities and scholarships to students of diverse backgrounds, as well as leadership development experiences for our entry-level professionals and interns.

"We want to send a clear message on campus that the firm has a strong commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive culture in which everyone has the opportunity to contribute fully. Our targeted diversity recruiting events, such as those we do to attract lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered students, helps to demonstrate this commitment and creates targeted opportunities for potential recruits to interact with J.P. Morgan professionals with whom they may share something in common."

– Laureen Callo, J.P. Morgan Investment Bank, Vice President, Syndicated and Leveraged Finance, member of PRIDE-NY, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Employee Network
